OBJECTIVES
Iran and Belgium Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a
nonprofit-making institution , is striving towards the following objectives:
•
Development of commercial , economic and
industrial relations between the two countries.
•
Close co-operation with official authorities ,
organizations and institutions of both countries with a view to encouraging
further development of these relations.
•
Gathering and evaluation of statistical data and other
useful trade , economic and industrial information related to the two countries
and putting them at the disposal of Iranian and Belgian businessmen requiring
such data.
•
Making endeavors to meet the wishes and view - points
of both countries' businessmen whenever appropriate.
•
Study and research with a view to creating the
necessary possibilities for investment in both countries.
•
Facilitating the exchange of trade, economic and
industrial delegations between Iran and Belgium.
•
Organizing and administration of seminars , lectures ,
conferences and symposia dealing with commercial , economic and industrial
issues of mutual interest to both countries.
•
Attempting to settle disputes arising from commercial
, economic and industrial relations between Iranian and Belgian enterprises in
amicable ways or by referring them to arbitration ( both internal and external
) , when so requested and upon the approval of the Board of Directors of the
Chamber.
•
Publication of information in the Chamber's Quarterly
regarding questions related to the promotion of trade and economic relations of
both countries, containing changes in commercial and industrial laws and other
common topics of interest.
SERVICES
In order to attain the above mentioned goals , Iran and Belgium
Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers the following services to its members:

Free access to the data bank of the Chamber.
•
Presentation of regular and useful information through
the publication of the Chamber's quarterly.
•
Guidance and advice in special cases by different
commissions of the Chamber.
•
Utilization of the possibilities of the Iranian
Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce and other similar organs
with a view to meet the needs of the members.
•
Co-operation in obtaining business visas for Iranian
and Belgian members.
•
At members' request , purchase and gathering of
documents related to international tenders and dispatch of specification
booklets by express mail and delivery of proposals against receipt.
•
Office services such as providing conference rooms ,
telephone , telex , fax , photocopy machines, etc.
•
Secretarial services such as typing , translation and
providing interpreters ( Persian , English , French).
