History of economic relations between Iran and Belgium goes a long way back to the late 19th century. At that time , Iran took advantage from co-operating with Belgium in erecting its first sugar factory , its first railroad between Tehran and Shahr-e-Ray, and the reorganization of its Ministries of Customs , Finance and Post.
